Qatar 2022: England draw Poland, Hungary, Albania, Andorra, San Marino in qualifying Group I

England will face Poland, Hungary, Albania, Andorra, San Marino in Group I, after the draw for the European qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, held by FIFA in Zurich (SUI) on 07/12/2020.

Elsewhere, the reigning champions France, will face Ukraine, Finland, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kazakhstan in Group D.

England will play their first three qualifying matches in March 2021, three more in September, two in October, and the last two in November 2021. The winners of Group I as well as the winners of the other nine groups will directly qualify for the final stages of the 2022 World Cup. The runners-up will participate in the play-offs in March 2022 (see below).
