Forbes: Team SoloMid (USA), world's most valuable esports company ($410m) in 2020

$410m, or €337m, is the valuation of Team SoloMid, the world's "most valuable esports company" in 2020, according to a study published by the American magazine Forbes on 05/12/2020. Two other American organisations complete the podium: Cloud9 valued at $350m (€288m) and Team Liquid valued at $310m (€255m). These three companies are all based in Santa Monica, California (USA).

Forbes published a Top 10 of the "Most Valuable Esports Companies". In this ranking, seven companies are North American (FaZe Clan, 100 Thieves, Enthusiast Gaming and NRG Esports), two are South Korean (Gen.G in 6^th place, T1 in 10^th) and one is German (G2 Esports, 8^th).

Enthusiast Gaming (Toronto, Canada, 7^th in the ranking) is the esports company with the highest annual revenues - estimated by Forbes - at $95m (€78m). However, only 6% of this revenue comes from esports (lowest total in the ranking). Six of these 10 companies generate at least 50% of their revenues from esports: the highest figure among these six organisations is that of Team SoloMind, with $45m (€37m) in revenues in 2020.
