Austria: adidas extends as official ball of the top 2 divisions through the ÖFBL (2021-2024)

adidas has extended as the official ball of the Tipico Bundesliga and Interwetten 2.Liga for an additional three seasons (2021-2024), announced the Österreichische Fußball-Bundesliga on 04/12/2020. The German equipment manufacturer has been a partner of the ÖFBL since 2018-19.

"The Austrian Football Bundesliga and adidas have had a successful partnership for many years and in summer 2018 a uniform league ball was introduced for the first time in Austria's two top divisions. This winter, the Tipico Bundesliga and adidas will be presenting the fourth model in the league ball series. The 'Conext 21' will be used on the pitches from Matchday 10 of the Tipico Bundesliga. The ball is visually impressive with its distinctive pattern with neon-like color accents," said the Austrian League.

Although adidas is not represented as an official ball in many of the major European leagues, the brand is a partner of UEFA and the official ball of the Champions League in the 2000-2021 season.
