TikTok: number of followers of the 64 European Top 5 clubs with an official account (December 2020)

With 6.4 million followers, FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) is the most popular European club on the Chinese social network TikTok, ahead of Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander, 4 million) and both FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) and Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) with 3.6 million fans each, according to data recorded by News Tank Football as of 01/12/2020.

Manchester United FC (Premier League), which launched its official account on TikTok on 30/10/2020, posted the best growth in absolute value during the month of November with an additional 613,900 followers over the period.

The English club also posted the second largest increase in relative value, having multiplied its number of fans by 3.8, ahead of the only Deportivo Alavés (LaLiga Santander) who had 25 times more subscribers than 01/11 / 2020. Dijon FCO (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) is the third and last club to have done better than doubling its number of fans during the month of November (+ 109.6%).
