European Rugby Cups: Sky Italia (ITA) and beIN (MENA) acquire TV rights for two years (2021-2023)

The pay TV group Sky Italia acquires, for Italy, from the EPCR, the TV rights to the European Rugby Cups for two years (2021-2023), the body said on 07/12 / 2020.

The Italian group will broadcast the two fixtures between the Italian clubs Benetton Rugby (Guinness Pro14) and Zebre Rugby Club (Guinness Pro14) during the Challenge Cup preliminary phase, as well as three Heineken Champions Cup matches on Sky Sport and streaming via the Now.TV platform. "Sky Sport 24 and the skysport.it website will also carry extensive coverage of the new season which kicks off on Friday (11/12/2020) and runs through to Finals Weekend in Marseille in May 2021," explained EPCR.

beIN Media Group has acquired the same rights "in Australia, South-East Asia and the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region also for the next two seasons," added EPCR.
