Serie A TIM: five clubs have a betting operator as a regional partner in 2020-21

Five Serie A TIM clubs have a sports betting operator as a partner during the 2020-21 season, as of 09/12/2020. These clubs are: Bologna FC 1909, AS Roma, SS Lazio, AC Milan and Juventus FC.

According to the Dignity Decree-Law that came into force for the 2019-20 season, Italian sports clubs can no longer enter into agreements with gambling operators that concern the Italian territory. For this reason, the partnerships with these five bookmakers do not apply to the Italian market. Their logos are therefore not displayed on the club shirts. Thanks to virtual overlay advertising technology, other markets can broadcast advertising for these operators in Italian stadiums during matches.

The majority of these partnerships concern the Asian market: Bologna FC with JBO, AS Roma with WIN365, SS Lazio with HQ Bet and AC Milan with Yabo Sports. Parimatch (Cyprus) has taken over from 10Bet (Malta) as Juventus' betting partner "outside the Italian market" from 2020-21.
