Brazil 2014: Adidas unveils ball for World Cup final

German kit supplier Adidas unveiled Brazuca Final Rio, the ball for the 2014 World Cup final (13/07/2014 in Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro), on 29/05/2014.

In keeping with the same aesthetic as Brazuca, the ball for the final is tinged with gold and green, and inspired by the colours of the World Cup trophy, which is in 18k gold and has two rings of malachite, a green semi-precious stone, embedded in its base.

Like Brazuca, the ball for the final underwent a battery of tests for two and a half years. It has been available in the Adidas stores and on its official website since 01/06/2014 for €140. The "replica" ball goes for €30 and the mini-ball for €9.

Adidas hopes to sell 15m units of Brazuca worldwide, including more than 600,000 in France.
