esports: PSG launches a section within its academy and will open a dedicated studio in 2021

"The Parisian club is pursuing its ambitious development in the esports sector, by launching an esports section within the Paris Saint-Germain Academy and by opening a dedicated area for players," announced Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) on 10/12/2020.

Present in the esports since 2016, PSG is increasing its presence in this field and launching two new programmes: one 100% digital and one physical, in the form of a studio. The club has been providing an online booking platform for private lessons known as "Paris Saint-Germain Academy Esports" (from €20 per hour) since 10/12/2020.

During the first half of 2021, PSG will open a studio dedicated to esports, its professional PSG Esports teams and the club's digital activities, in Boulogne-Billancourt (Paris, FRA), on the premises of its headquarters. "The Paris Saint-Germain studio will welcome new generations of players. It is a contemporary, ultra-connected space, conducive to the practice of sports at all levels and the creation of digital content," explained the club.
