Mediapro France: call for strike action within the production teams from 17/12/2020

"The CSE (Social and Economic Committee) asks for Jaume Roures (president and founder of the Chinese-Spanish audiovisual group Mediapro) to come as soon as possible so that he can explain to us in person his plans for the future of our company and of our jobs following his decision to give up the rights to Ligue 1 and Ligue 2, thus sacrificing the Téléfoot channel and the employees of the two French companies of the Mediapro group. If Jaume Roures does not show the will to respond to request, then we are calling all the staff to go on strike from Thursday morning (17/12/2020)," indicated the CFDT-UNSA union syndicate of Mediapro France, on 16/12/2020.

Mediapro France is in charge of the production activities of the Spanish group in France. The entity existed before the acquisition of the rights to 80% of Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 matches, over the 2020-2024 cycle, by Mediapro on 29/05/2018.
