LaLiga, which will create "LaLiga Tech", a specific entity dedicated to its digital activities, is currently in discussions with the Luxembourg fund CVC Capital Partners and the American fund Bruin Sports Capital to acquire 60% of the entity valued at a total of €450m by LaLiga, according to Spanish media on 16/12/2020.

"It's not for cash, we don't have any problems. It's to promote the growth of our digital ecosystem," said Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga, on 16/12/2020.

LaLiga has invested around €200m since 2014 in the development of artificial intelligence, business intelligence, and analytical systems. Through LaLiga Tech, it intends to develop the marketing of its solutions to third parties under a white label.
