Canal+: myCanal (OTT) application available on Amazon Fire TV

Canal+ has reached an agreement with the American e-commerce group Amazon to make the myCanal (OTT) application available on Amazon Fire TV, a connected TV streaming service, according to the French pay-TV group on 17/12/2020. myCanal is now available for users of Amazon Fire TV devices in France, Switzerland, Monaco and Poland.

"This is the first time that the myCanal application has been made available on new equipment simultaneously in several territories of the Canal+ group. myCanal joins Amazon Fire TV to offer its subscribers a new way to discover all the richness of its content, including the possibility of launching myCanal with Alexa," explained Canal+.

"We are delighted with this collaboration with Amazon. Thanks to Fire TV, Canal+ is further accelerating the deployment of myCanal as a single entry point to content for our subscribers on all types of equipment," said Philippe Schwerer, head of VoD, boxes, manufacturer partnerships and platforms at Canal+ Group.
