Covid-19: French Football Federation adopts new formats for the men's and women's Coupe de France

"Faced with a health situation that is disrupting the men's and women's Coupe de France, the FFF executive committee chaired by president Noël Le Graët has adopted new formats for these two competitions," announced the French Football Federation on 17/12/2020.

These two French Cups, as well as all of the League, District, National 3, National 2, Women's second division and National Youth Championships competitions, have been suspended since 29/10/2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The resumption of matches could take place in January 2021 at the earliest, which would disrupt the organisation of all matches according to the FFF's initial schedule.

"For the Men's Coupe de France, the principle of a competition organised in two paths up to the Round of 32 has been retained: one path for the Ligue 1 Uber Eats clubs (competing in the Round of 64) and Ligue 2 BKT (competing in the 8^th round), and a second path for the other clubs.
