MLS Cup Final2020: 1.53 million TV viewers in the United States on Fox and UniMas (+30% vs 2019)

The Audi MLS Cup Final 2020, Colombus Crew - Seattle Sounders (3-0), contested in front of 1,500 spectators at Mapfre Stadium (19,968 capacity) in Colombus (Ohio, USA), drew a total 1.53 million TV viewers on average in the United States (1.071 million viewers on the national, free-TV English-speaking channel Fox and 459,000 on the Spanish-speaking pay-TV channel UniMas) on 16/12/2020.

This audience is up 30% compared to the 2019 edition, Seattle Sounders - Toronto FC (3-1), which had gathered 1.27 million TV viewers on average in the United States, on 10/11/2019. This is also the third highest TV audience for an English language channel since 2010 and the best on a Spanish speaking channel since 2016.

While MLS Cup Final viewership is on the rise, the average Major League Soccer 2020 regular season match viewing audiences has fallen from the 2019 season average of 260,000 viewers.
