L’Équipe group: Laurent Prud'homme (ex-Eurosport) appointed deputy CEO effective 04/01/2021

Laurent Prud'homme has been appointed deputy CEO of the L'Équipe group and will take up his role on 04/01/2021, according to the French sports media (press, TV, digital) group, on 21/12/2020. Reporting to Jean-Louis Pelé, the group's CEO, Prud'homme will be a member of the executive committee.

"Laurent Prud'homme, along with Jérôme Saporito, director of La chaine L'Équipe, will have the main task of defining and implementing the development strategy for the TV and video divisions. He will be, with Emmanuel Alix, head of the digital division, at his side, tasked with the implementation of the future L'Équipe platform, which will be launched before summer 2021," explained the group.

Laurent Prud'homme worked for nearly 20 years within the pay-TV group Eurosport. He was appointed general manager of Discovery France (Eurosport's parent company) on 01/11/2019, before being leaving the role in October 2020.

"Laurent Prud'homme's mission is also to coordinate the implementation of our future L'Équipe platform" (J-L Pelé, Groupe L'Équipe group)
