eSports: Kia Motors, title sponsor of Damwon Gaming (KOR), winners of the Worlds 2020 (LoL)

Kia Motors, South Korean car manufacturer, has become partner and title sponsor of Damwon Gaming, which will become "DMW Kia" from the 2021 season, as part of a multi-year agreement, announced the South Korean esports organisation on 22/12/2020.

The world champion LoL team at the Worlds 2020 will be sporting a new logo and new jerseys in the colours of the partnership during the 2021 season, notably in the LCK (organised by Riot Games).

Kia is thus strengthening its position in esports. In 2019, the South Korean car manufacturer became the LEC's "automotive partner" via Riot Games. As part of this agreement, extended in 2020, Kia benefits from assets such as naming for various individual and collective awards: the "Kia Player of the Game", the "Kia Split MVP", the "Kia All-Star Team of the Split" and the "Kia Team of the Season''.

Kia was also a partner of the British organisations Fnatic (in 2019) and Rogue (in 2020), both of which play in the LEC.
