News Tank Football: a final salute to those lost in the sporting world in 2020

From Michel Hidalgo to Gérard Houllier, both former managers of the French national football team, one deceased on 26/03, the other on 14/12/2020, from David Stern, the former long-time commissioner (delegated president) of the NBA, deceased on New Year's Day (01/01/2020), to Kobe Bryant, the former star basketball player of the Los Angeles Lakers, killed in a helicopter crash on 26/01/2020, to Diego Maradona, one of the best footballers of all time, deceased on 25/11/2020... so many disappearances marked this year 2020 that it will not remain only in the history of sport as Year 1 of the Covid-19 pandemic, with competitions canceled, postponed or altered, its games behind closed doors, broadcasters in trouble and clubs into the unknown.

At the time of closing the door and leaving without regret this unique year of 2020 and the coronavirus, News Tank Football would like to salute one last time all those deceased during the year, across all spectrums.
