Ligue 1 Uber Eats: AS Saint-Étienne organises a virtual Christmas tree for 40 hospitalised children

ASSE Cœur-Vert, a charity founded by AS Saint-Étienne (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), organised a "virtual Christmas tree" featuring a meeting between club players and 40 children hospitalised at the Saint-Étienne University Hospital (Loire, FRA) on 17/12/2020.

"As the Christmas holidays are expected to be disrupted by the pandemic, ASSE Coeur-Vert has mobilised to provide support and comfort to those in need. Deprived of the possibility of running numerous events, the charity has had to reinvent itself in order to maintain its annual visit to young patients in hospitals in Saint-Etienne," said AS Saint-Étienne on 18/12/2020.

"Thanks to a videoconference system deployed both at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard and in the various paediatric departments of the University Hospital, these brave children were able to talk for almost an hour with Jessy Moulin, Wahbi Khazri, Mathieu Debuchy and Romain Hamouma (first team players), accompanied by Gwladys Debbache and Audrey Chaumette, players from the leading team in the women's second division," added the French club.
