Tennis: 2021 ATP calendar confirmed until beginning of April, Indian Wells Masters 1000 postponed

"Due to the impact of Covid-19, the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells (California, USA) will not be held in its customary dates in March (2021)," announced the ATP, which unveiled the rest of the 2021 calendar (post-Australian Open) on 29/12/2020.

The 2021 ATP calendar is now established until the ATP Masters 1000 in Miami (from 22/03 to 04/04/2021) with most notably an indoor season in Europe (including the Montpellier and Marseille tournaments in France) as well as tournaments in Latin America and the Middle East.

The Australian Open, the first Grand Slam tournament of the season, scheduled from 18 to 31/01/2021 at Melbourne Park in Melbourne (AUS), has been postponed until the period from 08 to 21/02/2021, according to the ATP on 16/12/2020, which presented a first revised schedule for 2021. The tournament qualifiers will take place in Doha (Qatar) from 10 to 13/01/2021, before the players leave for Australia from 15 to 17/01/2021, in order to complete a quarantine.
