AS Saint-Étienne: launch of a Twitch channel during the club's first esports tournament

AS Saint-Étienne (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) has launched its own official channel on the streaming platform Twitch during the final stages of the ASSE eFootball Cup, the first esports tournament organised by the club on FIFA 2021 (video game published by EA Sports), announced Saint-Étienne on 29/12/2020.

"Nearly 1,000 players took part in the qualification phase of the tournament, which took place on 27/12/2020," said AS Saint-Étienne. Eight players from the club's professional group took part in the final phase of the ASSE eFootball Cup on 30/12/2020. The matches were broadcast in the form of a commentated multiplex. A camera installed at each participant's home provided live feedback.

"Already present on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Dailymotion and TikTok, AS Saint-Etienne is extending its presence on social networks by launching its own official Twitch channel.
