SV Werder Bremen: Green Legend replaces shirt sponsor Wiesenhof for "Veganuary" in 2021

PHW-Gruppe Lohmann & Co, a German company specialised in the food industry, has activated its partnership with SV Werder Bremen (Bundesliga) and is displaying its Green Legend brand (vegetable protein products) as main shirt sponsor for the six matches played by the club in January 2021, announced Werder Bremen on 02/01/2021.

Green Legend, a range of organic products launched in October 2020, will therefore benefit from the usual visibility of Wiesenhof, another brand belonging to PHW-Gruppe Lohmann & Co, for one month in order to increase brand awareness. This is part of the international "Veganuary" campaign in January, which encourages the general public to adopt a vegan diet for one month.

"We are obviously really pleased to wear this message on our shirts. Green Legend is something that fits us really well. We are really interested in the development of our most important partner. They want to boost their new products and we want to start this year in similar fashion by writing positive new stories," said Klaus Filbry, CEO of SV Werder Bremen.
