Tennis: Peroni replaces Stella Artois as official beer of the 2021 Australian Open

The Italian beer brand Peroni has become the official beer of the 2021 Australian Open, announced Tennis Australia on 07/01/2021.

"A custom designed Peroni Aperitivo Bar will bring true Italian style hospitality to the Australian Open. Located within the Rod Laver Arena zone and with easy access to RLA, this will be a premium destination for fans. The iconic Peroni blue ribbon is reflected in the shape of the bar, the furniture and a series of striking bespoke “blue ribbon seating area," said the body.

Peroni (Asahi) replaces Stella Artois (AB InBev) as the beer of the Australian tournament, initially scheduled from 18 to 31/01/2021 at Melbourne Park in Melbourne (AUS), and postponed until the period from 08 to 21/02/2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
