Eleven Sports: Giovanni Zurleni appointed as managing director for Italy

Giovanni Zurleni has been appointed as Eleven Sports' managing director for Italy, announced the British audiovisual group on 08/01/2021. "Giovanni will be responsible for further developing Eleven's business and operations in Italy. He will work to deliver a first-class service to Eleven's current subscribers and to engage new sports fans across the country," added the group.

Previous to this role, Zurleni "was vice-president, commercial & partnerships, at DAZN from 2018-2019, leading the team's business development strategy and execution, coordinating global and local distribution deals with key partners and managing relationships and activations with national and international rights holders. Before that, Giovanni was commercial and marketing director for Lega B. Giovanni also spent over a decade in senior roles with leading Serie A TIM club FC Internazionale Milano. He was the club's head of international brand and business development for 5 years," said Eleven.
