Bundesliga: DEVK (insurance) extends as sleeve sponsor of 1. FC Köln until 2024-25 (€2m/year)

DEVK, a German insurance company based in Cologne (North Rhine-Westphalia, GER), has extended as a sleeve sponsor 1. FC Köln (Bundesliga) for four additional seasons from 2021-22 until 2024-25, announced the German club on 11/01/2021.

DEVK, which has been a sleeve sponsor of 1. FC Köln since 2017-18, will continue to benefit from the status of main partner, the first level in the German club's sponsorship hierarchy. The value of the annual amount will remain unchanged for the 2021-2025 cycle, at €2m per season, even in the event of relegation during the period, according to German media.

"The long-term extension of the cooperation is a real sign of trust and a strong signal at a time of pandemic. We share the same values, which can also be seen in the way DEVK supports the work of our foundation: be it at our Christmas dinner for those in need, at the Charity Cup or in the future at our apprenticeship project," explained Alexander Wehrle, CEO at 1. FC Köln.
