The U.S. supplier Nike and designer Pedro Lourenço launched a limited edition shirt for women on 05/06/2014 in the colours of Brazil's selection for the 2014 World Cup.

The limited run of 160 shirts are made from recycled polyester and organic cotton, on sale for €115 beginning 12/06/2014 in the new Nike pop-up store, Nike 1994, in the Vila Madalena neighborhood of Sao Paulo (BRA), open from 06/06 to 31/08/2014.

The entire outfit of the Brazilian team, introduced on 24/11/2013, was made from recycled plastic bottles. Since 2010, Nike has recycled nearly 2bn such bottles. Nike has been Brazil's kit supplier since 1996.

  • The pop-up store Nike 1994 in Sao Paulo was so named to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Nike in football and of the final of the 1994 World Cup between Brazil and Italy (0-0, 3-2 in penalty shootouts, on 17/07/1994 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, USA).
  • Nike 1994 covers 234 square meters and offers designers' lifestyle products in limited editions and the Nike FC range.
