Italy/esports: Lega Serie A launches an official channel dedicated to the eSerie A TIM on Twitch

"Lega Serie A has arrived on the popular livestreaming platform Twitch to promote the eSerie A TIM, the official Italian esports competition organised by Lega Serie A, Infront and PG Esports," announced the Italian professional football league on 11/01/2021.

"The channel will be one of the reference points for all football and esports fans, a channel full of live content where fans can cheer for their favourite team, even in its more digital and modern form associated with official gaming competitions," added the Lega Serie A.

The eSerie A TIM Twitch channel will make its debut on 12 and 13/01/2021 via the broadcast of the Draft Showdown, a stage aimed at determining the players who will represent Serie A TIM clubs in the esports competition. The Lega Serie A is the second league in the European Top 5 to launch an official channel on Twitch after LaLiga (see below).
