"All six (2019-20) champions scrutinised in our report have now recorded a decrease in their operating revenues: Juventus FC (Serie A TIM), Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) and FC Porto (Liga NOS) registered a double-digit year-on-year drop, while FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga), Liverpool FC (Premier League) and Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) reported more modest decreases in operating revenues, mainly due to their ability to increase commercial income," states the 2021 edition of "The European Champions Report" published by KPMG Football Benchmark, the football-dedicated business intelligence platform of the international network of audit and consulting firms, on 11/01/2021.

The 2021 Report is the sixth edition of a study that usually compares the operational revenues of the champions of the top eight European Leagues (Premier League, LaLiga Santander, Bundesliga, Serie A TIM, Ligue 1 Uber Eats, Liga NOS, Eredivisie and Süper Lig).
