The NFL game New Orleans Saints - Chicago Bears (21-9), counting for the first round of the playoffs, was broadcast in the United States on the children's thematic channel Nickelodeon on 10/01/2021.

The American football game, which was also broadcast by the pay-TV channel CBS Sports, also a subsidiary of ViacomCBS, was given a special packaging (including a "slime zone", slime being a malleable gooey paste, corresponding to the touch down area) and dedicated children's content throughout the game, including a special half-time show, guest journalists and Nickelodeon hosts, as well as original graphics overlaid on the field (see below).

The game was also enriched by recurring characters from the channel's cartoons, such as "Sponge Bob", the hero of an American animated comedy TV series, who appeared on screen between the posts during a conversion.
