AS Saint-Étienne: Jean-François Soucasse (ex-Toulouse FC) appointed CEO

"Jean-François Soucasse has been appointed CEO of AS Saint-Étienne (Ligue 1 Uber Eats)," announced the French club on 12/01/2021. He succeeds Xavier Thuilot, who held the same position - in addition to being a member of the management board - from October 2019 to January 2021.

"A former professional player, Jean-François Soucasse has perfectly succeeded in his transition by establishing himself as a club manager at Toulouse FC (Ligue 2 BKT) where, in 2003, he became director of the training centre after obtaining a Master's degree in sports organisation management. In 2004, he was promoted to deputy CEO, then CEO at the age of 35 and finally, deputy chairman. He thus participated in the renewal of the TFC, which left the National league in the early 2000s to reach two European qualifications during their 17 consecutive seasons spent in Ligue 1," said AS Saint-Étienne.
