esports: adidas official equipment supplier of G2 Esports (ESP-GER) for two seasons (2021 and 2022)

adidas has become the official equipment supplier of G2 Esports for the 2021 and 2022 seasons, announced the Berlin-based team (GER) on 14/01/2021. G2 Esports thus formalizes a partnership already mentioned at the Worlds 2020 when the players of the team were displayed on G2's social networks wearing the German brand's shoes for their games.

adidas will supply the jerseys for G2 Esports and will also produce lifestyle product lines throughout the partnership. The German group has already entered into major partnerships in esports, in particular with Team Vitality (since 2017), a French organization for which adidas has already marketed two pairs of shoes in limited editions.

Among the 10 organizations that play in the LEC 2021, two start the season (22/01/2021) being equipped by adidias. Among the other LEC teams, MAD Lions (ESP) is equipped by Kappa, FC Schalke 04 Esports (GER) by Umbro, SK Gaming (GER) by Nike, Astralis (DEN) by Hummel, while Raven (brand dedicated to the esports) provides outfits for Excel (UK) and Rogue (USA).
