FIGC: Gabriele Gravina and Cosimo Sibilia presidential candidates (election in Rome on 22/02/2021)

Gabriele Gravina and Cosimo Sibilia have submitted their candidacy for the presidency of the FIGC, as well as their respective programmes, within the deadline set by the regulations, i.e. 40 days before the elective assembly scheduled in Rome (ITA) on Monday 22/02/2021, announced the Italian Federation on 13/01/2021.

• The candidacy of Gabriele Gravina (born 05/10/1953), president of the FIGC since 22/10/2018, is supported by the three Italian professional leagues (the Lega Serie A, Lega Serie B, and Lega Pro), the players' union (AIC) and the coaches' union (AIAC). These five organisations represent a total of 64% of the votes at the Elective Assembly.
• The candidacy of Cosimo Sibilia (born 01/02/1959) is supported by the National Amateur League (Lega Nazionale Dilettanti, LND) of which he has been president since 28/01/2017. The LND holds 34% of the vote.

The AIA, Italian Referees' Association, which has 2% of the vote, has not taken a position.
