FC Barcelona: Chinese transport cards featuring five of the club's players for Chinese New Year

Five FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) players - Lionel Messi (ARG), Frenkie de Jong (NED), Sergi Roberto (ESP), Gerard Piqué (ESP) and Marc-André ter Stegen (GER) - have been featured on transport cards in China as part of a partnership between Barça and the Shanghai City Tour Card Development, a local transport authority, on the occasion of Chinese New Year (entry into the Year of the Ox, 12/02/2021), announced the club 12/01/2021. Produced as limited editions, the cards sold out in just two hours.

Useful for travel throughout mainland China, the transport cards were available for purchase individually or as a boxed set containing a collection of five cards, which combine graphic elements of FC Barcelona (notably the Camp Nou) with other elements related to Chinese architecture and art.
