Bayern Munich: €100,000 for SOS Children's Villages through sale of adidas collector jerseys

FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) has donated €100,000 to the NGO SOS Children's Villages through the sale of all of its limited edition jerseys created by adidas as part of the 'Human Race' campaign," the club announced on 13/01/2021.

The German equipment manufacturer launched the "Human Race" campaign in October 2020 in order to promote "tolerance and peaceful coexistence" and to raise funds by creating, in collaboration with the American artist Pharell Williams, collector jerseys for Real Madrid CF, Juventus FC, Manchester United FC, Arsenal FC, and Bayern (see below).

The Bavarian club has decided to donate the sums collected to SOS Children's Villages, a humanitarian association which supports nearly 1.5 million children in 137 countries, with which it has announced that it has signed a cooperation agreement over "several years", on 22/09/2020.
