This figure represented a total audience share of 25% and a subscriber audience share of 41% for Sky. This is the best audience share for Sky Sports, and the second best audience share for any pay-TV channel in the Sky group, all programmes combined (behind the final episode of the Game of Thrones series).

Sky Sports' previous audience record was set during a Premier League match between Manchester City FC and Manchester United FC (1-0), which posted 4.05 million viewers on 30/04/2012.
