All Premier League matches in February 2021 will be broadcast live in the UK by the rights holders of the English championship over the 2019-2022 cycle (Sky Sports, BT Sport, Amazon and the BBC), announced the League on 20/01/2021.

In October and November 2020, the Premier League had broadcast pay-per-view via Sky Sports and BT Sport, the matches for which rights are not normally allocated due to the TV blackout (ban on broadcasting live matches on Saturdays between 14:45 and 17:15 local time, 15:45 and 18:15 CET, to protect stadium attendance). This measure was controversial because of the price (£14.95/€16.50) per match.

The Premier League had put an end to this pay-per-view experiment on 21/11/2020 by returning to the broadcasting system set up since the resumption of the league (end of the 2019-20 season played behind closed doors, see below).
