Real Betis Balompié: electric scooters provided to employees to promote sustainable mobility

Real Betis Balompié (LaLiga Santander) and the urban micro-mobility operator Lime have signed a collaboration agreement to promote sustainable mobility among the club's employees by encouraging them to commute to work on electric scooters, announced the Spanish club on 19/01/2021. This initiative is part of "Forever Green", a platform for companies and institutions that want to use the popularity of football to combat climate change, launched by Real Betis on 30/10/2020.

"Thanks to this agreement, Real Betis Balompié employees will enjoy a fleet of Lime electric scooters free of charge this season to contribute to achieving the goal of zero emissions, in line with the climate neutrality objectives of the European Commission and the Spanish Government. In addition, an area for charging the scooters will be set up in the Estadio Benito Villamarín car park and another in the Ciudad Deportiva Luis del Sol (training centre)," explained the Seville club.
