NBA: Decathlon becomes a partner for the sale of products under license through its Tarmak brand

Decathlon, a French-based sports goods production and distribution group, has become an official partner of the NBA for the launch of licensed products marketed under Decathlon's Tarmak brand, announced the North American League on 21/01/2021. The partnership begins in 2021 and is expected to last several seasons.

This is Decathlon's first partnership with a North American sports league. The agreement covers "more than 1,200 Decathlon stores" in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Latin America.

"The partnership will feature a dedicated range of NBA team and league-branded base layers, accessories and footwear designed by Decathlon and sold under their basketball brand Tarmak.  The collection will be sold exclusively in Decathlon stores worldwide and online at www.Decathlon.com. Products will be available for pre-order beginning in March 2021 ahead of the April 2021 launch in stores," said the NBA.
