Euro 2016: UEFA launches its hospitality programme two years from opening match kickoff

On 10/06/2014, two years to the day of the start of Euro 2016 (France, 10/06 to 10/07/2016), UEFA (Union of European Associations soccer) launched its hospitality programme for the competition.

There are two types of offers: the Gold Packages, which include seats in category one and access to a hospitality lounge; and the Platinum Packages, which give access to private boxes in the selected stadiums.

Hospitality sales are managed directly by UEFA through its department of revenue management. A sales team is already in place in the Euro 2016 SAS offices, on Avenue Kléber in Paris (16th arrondissement).

  • The hospitality range is offered under the name Le Club Henri Delaunay, named after the man who created the European Championship in 1960.
  • "For the first time, a large majority of the hospitality programme will take place in stadiums," said UEFA.
  • UEFA Events SA operations division has been running sales of hospitality services since 2010.
