esports: KitKat (chocolate) extends partnership with Riot Games for the 2021 LEC (LoL) season

KitKat, a chocolate brand belonging to the Nestlé International group, has extended its partnership with Riot Games to become a main partner for the 2021 LEC season, announced the publisher of the League of Legends (LoL) video game and organiser of the competition, on 20/01/2021. KitKat has been a partner of the LEC since 2020.

"KitKat started with a pilot initially, with a relatively low level of activity; so it's incredible that they have recognised the value of our partnership to the extent that they are now one of the major league esports partners across the LEC and local leagues and teams across Europe," said Alban Dechelotte, head of sponsorships & new business EU Esports at Riot Games.
