LaLiga Santander: Fonbet, regional partner of Real Madrid in Russia and the CIS for 2020-2023

Fonbet (ФОНБЕТ), a Russian sports betting operator, has become a regional partner of Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) for Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) for three seasons (2020-2023), announced the club on 22/01/2021.

Fonbet has the status of regional partner, the third level in the Madrid club's sponsorship hierarchy. For LaLiga Santander and Copa del Rey matches, the Russian bookmaker will benefit from visibility on signage at the Santiago Bernabéu via geolocalised overlay virtual advertising specifically for the Russian and CIS markets.

Fonbet, which was also a partner of LaLiga in 2018-2020, succeeds MarathonBet, Real Madrid's regional sports betting partner for the Russian market in 2019-20.

Fonbet is the third betting operator to become a regional partner of the 2019-20 Spanish champions: Codere operates in the Spanish market (2019-2021) while Kok Sports operates in the Asian market (2020-2023). From 2021-22, Spanish sports clubs will no longer be able to advertise betting operators on their kits (see below).
