Ooredoo, a Qatari telecommunications operator, has become a "national supporter" of the 2020 Club World Cup to be held in Qatar, announced FIFA on 25/01/2021.

The competition will take place at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium and the Education City Stadium, both located in Doha, the capital of Qatar, from 04 to 11/02/2021. Originally scheduled for December 2020, the competition has been postponed due to the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on continental club competitions, which are qualifiers for the event, and whose calendars have been shaken up in 2020.

Ooredoo has the status of national supporter, the third level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the 2020 Club World Cup. The company was previously a partner of the 2019 edition of the competition, also held in Qatar.

  • "Ooredoo will be capitalising on its extensive experience with similar events to ensure fans enjoy an unrivalled experience in both stadiums," said FIFA Fédération Internationale de Football Association Founded: 1904 Headquarters: Zurich (Switzerland) Workforce (as of 31/12/2023): 953 Member federations: 211 • Revenue
