Manchester City: Alipay (payments) and Unilumin Sports (LED solutions), regional partners in China

Alipay, Chinese online payments platform of Alibaba Group Holding Limited, will become a regional partner of Manchester City FC (Premier League) in China from the 2020-21 season, the English club announced on 01/22/2021.

Alipay, a subsidiary of Ant Group, itself a financial subsidiary of Alibaba Group, has been granted the status of regional partner, the second level in the sponsorship hierarchy of Manchester City. As part of the agreement, the Manchester club will become the first European club to have a mini-programme - which will notably provide access to video content, merchandise and competitions - on the Alipay application, which boasts more than one billion users.

Unilumin Sports, a Chinese manufacturer of LED devices, has also become a regional partner of Manchester City FC in China from the 2020-21 season, according to the club on 25/01/2021.
