49ers Enterprises, a subsidiary dedicated to the investments of San Francisco 49ers (NFL), is increasing its stake in Leeds United FC (Premier League) to 37%, announced the English club on 25/01/2021.

49ers Enterprises had previously entered into a strategic partnership with the English club and acquired 15% of its capital in May 2018. The additional 22% has been acquired from Andrea Radrizzani, president of Leeds United FC. The Italian businessman retains 63% of the club's capital, of which he has been the majority shareholder since May 2017.

"We are delighted to welcome further investment into our club from 49ers Enterprises and I am confident that this latest partnership will help Leeds United continue to grow and develop into the team our supporters deserve. I have always been open to bringing partners on this journey with me, as long as these actions can benefit the long-term strategy of the club," said Andrea Radrizzani.
