Deloitte Football Money League 2021: Real, Bayern and Barça lead in terms of commercial revenue

Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) was the club that generated the most commercial revenue (sponsorship, merchandising and other commercial operations) in 2019-20, with a total of €382.7m, according to the Football Money League 2021 figures, published by the British audit and consultancy firm Deloitte on 26/01/2021. FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) which generated €360.5m and FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) with €340.2m, are second and third respectively in this ranking in terms of commercial revenue.

Real Madrid CF, which ranked second in the Football Money League in terms of total revenue, saw its commercial revenue increase by 7.9% in 2019-20 compared to 2018-19 (€354.6m). Of the Top 20 clubs that generated the most revenue, Everton FC (Premier League) posted the best growth in commercial revenue in absolute terms (up €44.2m) as well as in percentage terms (up 104% from €42.5m to €86.7m).
