Deloitte Football Money League 2021: Barça, Liverpool and Real lead in terms of broadcasting revenue

FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander), Liverpool FC (Premier League) and Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) are, in that order, the three clubs that received the most broadcasting revenue in 2019-20, according to the Football Money League 2021 figures, published by the British branch of the audit and consultancy firm Deloitte on 26/01/2021.

FC Barcelona, which ranked first in the Football Money League in terms of total turnover, posted the highest broadcasting revenues in 2019-20 (€248.5m), despite a 16.6% drop compared to the previous season. These figures come in the context of a 2019-20 season heavily impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic, during which 19 of the Top 20 clubs experienced a decline in audiovisual revenues.

Tottenham Hotspur FC (Premier League) was the club that suffered the biggest drop in TV rights revenue, both in absolute terms (-€121.7m) and in percentage terms (-44%, from €276.7m to €155m). Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) was the only club in this ranking to experience an increase in broadcasting revenues in 2019-20 (+€2.5m).
