Brazil: Fortnite (Epic Games), shirt sponsor of Santos FC for the 2020 Copa Libertadores final

Fortnite, a free access shooting game developed by Epic Games, has become the main shirt sponsor of Santos FC (Brasileirão Assaí, Brazilian first division), on the occasion of the final match of the 2020 Copa Libertadores between Santos FC and SE Palmeiras (Brasileirão Assaí Serie A) at the Maracanã stadium (Rio, BRA), on Saturday 30/01/2021 (21:00 CET), announced the club on 25/01/2021.

"This is an important initiative not only from a commercial point of view, but above all for the positioning of the club, which is partnering with one of the most popular brands among young people internationally," said Andrés Rueda, president of Santos FC. Despite recent partnerships with football clubs (23 teams, see below), this is the first time that Fortnite has become the shirt sponsor of a professional club.
