LFP TV rights: reserve price not met, French league to make a decision within 48 hours

"Gathered on 01/02/2021, the LFP steering committee in charge of the two consultations relating to the broadcasting rights of the Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT championships received offers from three major international groups: Amazon, Discovery and DAZN. As the reserve prices were not met, the consultations were declared unsuccessful. The LFP is now giving itself 48 hours to define the next steps in the marketing of its rights," announced the LFP on 01/02/2021, at 19:48 CET.

Jean-Michel Roussier, deputy consulting director of Téléfoot, a French pay-TV channel belonging to the Chinese-Spanish audiovisual group Mediapro, also made an offer via his company.
