FC Inter Milan: video campaign, capsule collection and collectible shirt for Chinese New Year

FC Inter Milan (Serie A TIM) has launched several initiatives, including a video campaign involving its striker Lautaro Martinez (ARG), as part of the celebration of Chinese New Year (entry into the Year of the Ox, 12/02/2021), announced the Italian club on 01/02/2021.

"The hero video of the campaign, launched today on the club's official digital channels, plays on the irony in the difference between the significance of the colour red in the world of football (red card) and in Chinese culture, where the red envelope (Hóngbāo) is gifted as a blessing of good fortune," explained the Milanese club, who decided to feature Lautaro Martinez because of his nickname "El Toro" (or "The Bull" in Spansh).

At the same time, a capsule collection dedicated to the Year of the Ox is also being launched by Inter Milan, with three products (a T-shirt, a sweatshirt and a protective smartphone case) featuring a stylised club logo with horns.

A collectible shirt, with the names of the players flocked in Mandarin and a special patch evoking the Ox on the left shoulder, will also be worn by the Inter…
