Facebook: Top 100 European football clubs with the most likes (February 2021)

Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) is the most popular European club on Facebook (nearly 111 million likes), ahead of FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander, 103 million) and Manchester United FC (Premier League, 73 million), according to data collected by News Tank Football, which has established the Top 100 most popular European clubs on this social network as of 01/02/2021.

Tottenham Hotspur FC (Premier League), 13^th in the ranking, posted the best growth in absolute value with 856,120 additional likes since 01/01/2021. Conversely, Belgian club RSC Anderlecht (Jupiler Pro League) posted the biggest decrease in likes over the period (-4,851 likes). In terms of percentage, Brighton & Hove Albion FC (Premier League) posted the best growth (+28.3%), ahead of Sheffield United FC (Premier League, +17.5%). This performance allowed the two English clubs to enter the Top 100, which now contains all 20 Premier League teams.
