At an estimated €42.6m per year, the contract between the U.S. company Nike and the FFF (French Football Federation) is the largest kit supplier contract to be signed by a national federation.

England, linked to Nike since 2013, come in second with an estimated €30m annually. Germany are third with €26m per year from Adidas, which has sponsored the team since 1954.

Among the top ten largest kit supplier contracts, five are with Nike and four with German kit supplier Adidas; the only other on this shortlist is Puma, which is Italy's kit supplier.

2014 marks the first time since 1998 that Nike, with ten selections, is the most represented kit supplier of the World Cup. The others are Adidas (nine teams) and Puma (eight teams), and five other brands that are working with one team each (Lotto, Burrda, Joma, Marathon and Uhlsport).
