Premier League: South Korean pharmaceutical group Cho-A to sponsor Manchester United

The South Korean pharmaceutical group Cho-A Pharm will sponsor Manchester United (Premier League), the club announced on 09/06/2014. The contract covers the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons.

Cho-A Pharm will be the official partner for South Korean and Vietnamese territories. The corporation will use the club's image in its ad campaigns and will commit itself to promoting football through support for Manchester United Soccer School.

Cho-A Pharm is the third South Korean company to become a regional partner of Manchester United, following in the footsteps of the food supplier Ottogi and Shinhan Bank. This type of contract allows the club to continue to increase its revenue from sponsorship. The Red Devils have increased their revenues in the second quarter of 2014, thanks to the 18.8% increase in their commercial revenues, which were at £42.3m (€51.6m) as of 31/12/2013.
